Abstract: Predatory mites found in the family Astragalus, the genus Erythraceae, the family of the genus Echinochloa, and Phyllostachys pubescens prey on small sucking insects, such as herbivorous mites, thrips, whitefly, aphids, etc. Consequently, they can be desirable candidates for green pest control at tea plantations. This article summarizes the information on the types, distribution and predatory behaviors of the natural resource.
