Research Progress on Occurrence Pattern and Resistance Mechanism of Four Common Fungal Diseases on Tea Plants in Guizhou

  • The climatic conditions and geographical location made Guizhou Province one of the world’s original habitats of tea plants and birthplaces of tea culture. However, high humidity and warm temperature are conducive to epidemics causing significant ill-effects on the yield and quality of tea. Therefore, the study of the pathogenic patterns of tea tree diseases and the molecularmechanisms of interactions between tea trees and pathogens is an important theoretical basis for disease prevention and control. Thisarticle summarizes the occurrence patterns of four common fungal diseases in Guizhou tea trees and the molecular immune mechanismsof tea tree disease resistance, and provides an outlook for future research to advance the breeding of disease-resistant tea cultivars andeffective disease prevention and control strategies.
