Analysisof the Biological Characters of Wild Tea(Camellia sinensis)GermplasmResources in Shouning County

  • Thebiological characters of the four wild tea germplasmresources in Shouning County were investigated and analyzed. The results showedthat the tea germplasm ofDiyang and Xiongkeng belonged to the shrub form or semi-treerescent form, andmost of the tree appearance was semi-open. The leaves were 7.42~12.09 cm long and 2.86~4.82 cm wide. The leaveswere yellow-green, green and dark green in color. The leaf shape was mainlylanceolate and elliptic, and the leaf shape of Diyang 001 and Xiongkeng 002 waslanceolate. Moreover, the corolla was large, with a diameter of 4.22~4.54 cm, sepals of 4.9~5.1, petals of 6.0~8.8, stamens of 168.0~277.9, and their ovarieswere both hairy.
