Research Progress of the Degradation ofPesticide Residues in Tea Leaves

  • Pesticides have played an important role inthe prevention and control of diseases and insect pests of tea plants. However, the excessive and uncontrolled use of pesticides may cause the food safetyproblems of tea plants and the environmental pollution. The related research onthe degradation techniques of pesticide residues in tea in recent years werereviewed, and then according to the production sequence of tea leaves, thedegradation process of pesticide residues from the fresh leaves, processing, finished tea to the storage and the related degradation methods of pesticideresidues were analyzed and discussed, in order to provide reference forimproving the tea quality and ensuring the production and consumption safety.
