Molecular Identification a Pathogenic FungusIsolated from the Cadaver of Curculio chinensis

  • Molecularmarker as a useful identification tool, which play a very important role inidentification the new species of entomogenous fungi. For identification thetaxonomic status of an entomogenous fungus, which were isolated from the cadaver of Curculio chinensis. Amplification, sequencing,and system evolution tree construction of the translation elongation factor 1alpha (EF1-α) and Bloc gene of the fungus Bb4112 were performed. The resultshowed that the entomogenous fungi was identifiedas Beauveria bassiana. Our studywould lay a foundation for the better use of the B. bassiana to control coleoptera pest in tea garden.
