Abstract:
Effect of the lightly aromatic Tieguanyin teas brewed in varied concentrations on their anti-fatigue efficacies on the ICR mice fed on a normal or high-fat diet was studied using a rotating bar experiment. A significant improvement on the mice’s ability to combat fatigue was found to come from the processed teas, not the fresh leaves. In addition, the high-fat diet induced reduction on the anti-fatigue ability of the mice was also ameliorated by administration of the teas in all concentrations tested.
