Abstract: Methods for detecting DNA molecular markers were an important technology in molecular marker studies, which directly related to the efficiency, accuracy, and the cost effectiveness of molecular marker studies. In this paper, the existing detection methods for DNA marker and their principles, characteristics and applications were summarized, and applications and prospects in tea plant were also reviewed to provide some references for their future researches.
